Fenns, an office supplies firm that has been based in the same premises in Stoke-on-Trent since 1875, is set to leave its location after 135 years. The firm is due to move into bigger workspace at Riverside Park, Stoke-on-Trent.
The company was established in 1875 under the trading name of John George Fenn, mainly as a printer. The firm soon moved into wider markets and is now one of the UK's largest independent office products supplier.
The new location is as a result of sustained growth over recent years, with has led to significant expansion and brought on board large clients such as Phones 4U and JCB. The new base provides 4200 sq ft of modern office space and 5300 sq ft of warehouse space.
Managing Director Phil Harris said: "The relocation of our operation to Riverside Park is the culmination of an exciting few years for us."
He adds, "Fenns continues to go from strength to strength and the move is down to many factors, but increasingly we have been winning a large amount of business both from within our Staffordshire base and on a national level. Quite simply, we've outgrown our existing premises and this move is an exciting new progressive development for us."
