A new incubation centre at the Business and Technology Centre (BTC) in Stevenage opened last month. Said to be the only one of its kind in Hertfordshire, the centre assists start-up companies and provides a supportive environment for existing businesses.

Providing a valuable service for firms in the region, the centre provides office space in Stevenage for a number of established firms, which includes on-site business support and networking opportunities alongside amenities such as conference and meeting facilities, and free parking.

Run by Wenta Innovation - a division of Wenta group who manage the BTC - the new incubation centre will give businesses access to hot desking and office facilities for three months free of charge, along with a mentor service from a business advisor.

Innovation Advisor for Wenta, Greg Thomas, said: "This is great news for start-ups in the local area and what better place to offer this service that at the BTC. We are also extremely proud to be launching the very first Incubation Centre in Hertfordshire."
