New property developments in Manchester city centre are helping to boost interest in the area, according to officebroker.com consultant Andrew Quigley.
Key office space developments such as Piccadilly Place and Spinningfields are attracting plenty of enquiries from businesses. These properties offer serviced space on short-term flexible agreements, which helps businesses to survive in a difficult economy. As a result this is attracting firms that can't find this level of flexibility in a conventional lease arrangement.
"Interest in the city centre of Manchester is picking up," says Andrew, "which is helped along by high profile developments - such as Piccadilly Place and Spinningfields."
He adds, "We're getting a lot of interest in Piccadilly Place which is mostly down to its key location at the entrance to Manchester. It's a prime spot, and office buildings with higher floor levels also have great views across the city which is obviously a major selling point."
Towns in the outskirts of Manchester are also receiving plenty of development opportunities which is helping to boost interest in the region.
