According to the latest research by officebroker.com, the level of serviced office space enquiries in the North West has shown a considerable comeback in the third quarter.

Based on each quarter as a whole, enquiries in Q2 dropped by -11% in 2009 compared to the previous quarter. Q2 was also down -10% compared to the same period last year, while Q1 2009 was down -6% compared with Q1 2008.

However Q3 2009 then produced an increase of 4% over the same period in 2008, and a 20% rise when compared to the previous quarter in 2009.

Research shows that the major cities of Manchester and Liverpool have contributed to this rise in enquiries, as both locations have experienced an increase in enquiries from Q2 to Q3 2009.

In addition, analysis shows that the increase in Q3 was also boosted by the performance of a number of smaller towns in the region, including Crewe, Oldham, Blackburn and Blackpool. These towns all produced a significant increase in enquiries in Q3 which helped to boost the overall level of enquiries for the region.
