The building, Fazeley Studios, is located in the city's former industrial centre of Digbeth, and occupies a 150-year old converted Unitarian chapel along with numerous former factory buildings.

A new office space scheme in Staines has been given the go-ahead by Spelthorne Council, for the development of 300,000 sq ft of offices in the town.
This reportedly comes after a year of consultation with the Council. As well as office space, the scheme is also set to include residential and retail space, along with a hotel and amenity use.

Over the first three quarters of 2009, officebroker.com statistics for initial license lengths shows a steady quarter-on-quarter decline.
As a whole, the average length of term signed by new occupiers over the first three quarters is down -22% when compared with the same period last year. In terms of quarterly figures, Q1 2009 was down -14% compared to the same quarter in 2008, followed by a drop of -23% in Q2 and -33% in Q3.
