Office in Spinningfields gets top industry award

An office in Manchester's acclaimed Spinningfields district has recently been awarded the accolade of 'Best development outside Central London', in a ceremony for the Office Development Awards.
The building on Hardman Street was designed by Sheppard Robson, and scooped the acclaimed 'BREEAM Excellent' rating for its eco-friendly detail.
According to TheBusinessDesk, Sheppard Robson's project manager for the development, Jamie Wood, says:
"Designing such a large speculatively developed office required three priorities - optimum flexibility, sustainable technology and a building specification of the highest prestige.
"Around 80% of the floor space was leased before the building's completion which proved a satisfying measure of the project's success."
The property has won a strong of other awards this year, including Best Commercial Workplace by the British Council for Offices.
