The latest European Cities Monitor by Cushman & Wakefield has shown that London is still considered the best place to do business.
However, the UK's second city Birmingham has shot up the popularity stakes this year, and is now considered the 14th best city for business, up 7 places from last year's 21st position.
Leeds has also improved, moving up four places from 28th to 24th. However on a less positive note, Dublin is one of several cities to move down by a number of places in this year's ranking.
In terms of transport, the Monitor shows that London is still favourite on an international scale, although second placed Paris has closed the gap slightly thanks to an improvement in perception of the French city.
On a national scale, these two cities are also perceived as the easiest cities in which to travel around, again with London coming out on top and Paris in second position, although London has successfully pulled further ahead of Paris this year.
Leeds is considered the best city for value for money of office space, and in terms of supply, offices are considered to be most readily available in London (2nd) and Birmingham (5th).
