St Peter's Square in Manchester is set to benefit from a £50m redevelopment of Elisabeth House, according to North West news source TheBusinessDesk.
Developers announced that they are submitting the plans, which reportedly include up to 22,500 sq ft of office space, along with public exhibition space and a double height reception, offering views across St Peter's Square.
According to TheBusinessDesk, Gary Taylor, joint managing director of the company behind the scheme - Argent UK Developments - said:
"We are delighted to be working alongside the City Council and other Landowners on restoration plans for St Peter's Square to create a new, first class piece of public realm. We've no doubt that, in the years to come, One St Peter's Square will be the most prestigious business address within the North West."
If planning consent is given, work is expected to be completed by 2013.
