The official opening of Innovation Boulevard, a new road network at the Liverpool Innovation Park, took place last week. The new route is expected to attract more business interest in the area.

The Liverpool Innovation Park is a science park containing space for offices and laboratories. Liverpool Vision have now completed the new road and created six development plots, which significantly opens up the site.

According to Liverpool Vision, Jim Gill, chief executive of the scheme, says:

"The park already supports the growth of knowledge-intensive and technology-based businesses both from within, and attracted to, the city region, but now with access to the new serviced development plots we will see more high-calibre businesses moving in, bringing further activity and economic benefits to this important area of the city."
