Lehman Brothers’ former centre in the City reopens as serviced offices

The Lehman Brothers' former conference centre in the City of London reopened for business yesterday, under new management by serviced office firm Regus.

According to Thisislondon.co.uk, the site in Broadgate Circle, near Liverpool Street station, is owned by British Land and was previously leased to the Lehman Brothers before the firm's collapse last year.

The firm then reportedly sub-let around 80% of the offices to other tenants - most of which were retained after the bank went into administration.

Speaking to Thisislondon.co.uk, a spokesman for Regus said:

"We have spent in the region of £100,000 bringing the space back up to standard with a new telephone system and furniture."
