London, Edinburgh and Liverpool top for UK city breaks

Readers of Conde Nast Traveller Magazine have voted London, Edinburgh and Liverpool as the top three destinations for UK city breaks.

Cities were scored on a number of factors, including aesthetics, architecture, cleanliness, culture, environmental friendliness, restaurants, nightlife, hospitality, range of accommodation, safety and value for money.

London was overall top and scored most highly on food and restaurants, nightlife and entertainment, and range of accommodation.

Other UK cities to perform well include Oxford (best for aesthetics and architecture), Brighton (for friendliness and hospitality), and Manchester - for the best value for money.
