A North-West start-up and enterprise support scheme, run by Knowledge Transfer International, is due to be fronted by Olympic high jumper Steve Smith.
Formed as part of a £9.5m roll-out of the LEAD programme (Leading Enterprise and Development), along with a contract with the North West Regional Development Agency, the scheme is set to provide support for small businesses and start-ups across the region.
According to TheBusinessDesk, Steve will be guest lecturer at events, talking about goal-setting, mental toughness and how to overcome the odds. For more details about LEAD, visit www.businesslinknw.co.uk/lead.
