A struggling north-west office supplies company, the Desk Centre, which was reportedly placed into administration last week, has been rescued by Vision Support Services. 36 jobs have been saved.

The Desk Centre's warehouse operations and head office are located in Birkenhead, and are set to remain there for the foreseeable future.

In a report by TheBusinessDesk, Vision Support Services' managing director Laurie Thomas, said:

"Desk Centre is a great addition to the group, taking us to a whole new level of expertise in supplying our existing public sector customers," adding, "We're delighted to welcome the staff to the group."
