A recent report by CB Richard Ellis shows that the cost of renting office space in Liverpool has fallen further, and the city now represents one of the best locations for businesses setting up in the UK.
In an interview with the Liverpool Daily Post, Mark Worthington, director of office agency at CBRE North West, said:
"With schemes like St Paul's Square, Liverpool is now able to offer top-quality office space comparable with anywhere else in the UK but at a significant discount. This cost difference, together with cheaper staff costs, is helping to make Liverpool a serious contender for inward investment."
Average occupancy costs are now £31.50 per sq ft, compared with Manchester at £44.50 per sq ft, Leeds at £42.50 and the City of London at £72.25.
