Ruffer Investment Management, currently based in London offices, are set to open a new office in Edinburgh this September, according to a report by Citywire.

Other firms in the investment sector have also recently opened new offices in Edinburgh, such as Brown Shipley and Rensburg Sheppards.

Speaking to Citywire, Michael Maslinksi of strategy and marketing firm Maslinski & Co, said:

"For some time, there has been an underlying trend of private client firms opening up outside London, and Edinburgh is significant in terms of private wealth and has a significant financial industry."
