Drivers Jonas have recently completed a poll of 45 professional cricket players, to find out which is their favourite UK Ashes territory. Lords cricket ground in London, near St John's Wood, took the top spot with almost 90% of voters choosing it as their first choice, while Edgbaston took a close second, with 72% of players voting it as their favourite.

The final results are as follows:

1) Lords - 89.4%

2) Edgbaston - 72.2%

3) Headingley - 42.8%

4) Oval - 42.2%

5) SWALEC Stadium, Sophia Gardens - 3.3%

According to the research by Drivers Jonas, both Lords and Edgbaston are set for major developments to further improve their facilities. Gary Cardin, head of the Birmingham Drivers Jonas office, said:
