A new scheme for Birmingham has been revealed by the Birmingham Post. The team that brought The Mailbox to the city centre is now said to be planning a brand new venture, at the site of the vacant Post & Mail building on Colmore Circus.
Occupying a prime spot in the heart of Birmingham's city centre, the property has been bought by Birmingham Development Company.
Speaking to the Birmingham Post, Mr Billingham of Birmingham Development Company said: "We have been keeping an eye open for opportunities in the city but it is difficult to find something of real interest. We wanted another great big lump to develop - that's what we enjoy."
Mr Billingham also added: "Our hope is to create something on a par with the previous two schemes (The Mailbox and The Cube) but we don't know what yet." Without official planning permission plans are sketchy at present, but he suggested that a mixed use scheme could be in the pipeline.
