Another law firm takes office space in Manchester, at Spinningfields

Law firm Beachcroft is reported to be taking office space in Manchester, at the city centre's Spinningfields business district. According to the Manchester Evening News, the firm is set to move its 173 staff from next May.

The Spinningfields district is proving to be popular among law firms, as Beachcroft's announcement follows Pinsent Mason's move to the same region, as reported on our blog in June. The General Medical Council also took extra space in the district.

As reported on the Manchester Evening News, Robert Moss, regional senior partner at Beachcroft, said: "Compared with our existing premises, the new office space is slightly smaller, but will allow for a more efficient way of working with all of our employees based on a single floor."

Spinningfields is certainly becoming more popular. Just found this quote by the Financial Times: "London has Canary Wharf and Paris has La Defence, Manchester has its own modern financial centre in the form of Spinningfields"
