There's been a surge in deals going through for office space in London of recent weeks - properties on Hammersmith Road, City of London and in Islington are just some of the most recent we've reported on. Each deal helps strengthen the UK commercial property market's recovery from the recession, and adds to the already positive news of increasing take-up for office space which - hopefully - will lead to an equally successful Q3.

Another deal for the City of London, for a property on Wood Street, has also been reported to have reached completion as stated by Property Week yesterday. The property and business source states that Land Securities sold the property on Wood Street to Aerium, for £105.5m.

The property is reported to hold retail and office space. The offices are currently let to law firm Eversheds.
