UK Sport anti-drugs agency could relocate from London offices to Coventry

In a report by the Telegraph Sport, it's been revealed that the new National Anti-Doping Agency, part of UK Sport, could be relocated from their existing office in London to a new location in Coventry. The agency's current office is on Bernard Street in central London.

According to the Telegraph, Treasury rules to control costs mean that all new Government agencies – NADO included – have to be based outside of London. The agency is being set up to combat the use of performance-enhancing drugs and strengthen the UK’s credentials on the run-up the Olympics in 2012.

A decision by the Treasury as to whether NADO will remain in their London office, or move elsewhere – Coventry among the possibilities – will be made next week.
