The Independent and Independent on Sunday have moved into shared office space in Kensington, West London, as part of a major restructuration to cut costs. The company now shares office space with Associated Newspapers.
Reports suggest that current trading conditions for the newspaper company is challenging, with management said to be "relentlessly focussed" on cost control. However the company remains upbeat and is said to be positioning itself to benefit from the economic recovery, when it occurs.
