A London based construction company has recently taken the move to set up an office in County Durham, at Wynyard Business Park near Sedgefield. Part of the Interior Services Group's move is to support its work on an £80m project for a low-energy data centre in the area, which is expected to open in September 2009.

Interior Services Group is also reportedly looking to step up its business in the North East. The company already has an office in Manchester, so this latest growth is good news for businesses and potential employees in the northern regions. Interior Services Group's Divisional Director Paul Pompili said:

"This central North East location provides excellent transport and technical communications facilities, allowing us to serve an extensive area from a local base."
