As part of a major Government cost-cutting scheme, the Ministry of Justice is said to be planning a move from its existing office in London, and is on the lookout for new office space for its regional headquarters. While no firm decisions have yet been made, shortlisted locations for the new office are Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Bristol.
It's understood that Stephen Foot, of London consulting firm Concerto, has been brought in to look at the regional options. If plans proceed as expected, the new office could be fully operational by 2013.
