Let's be honest here. Don't you just hate the new clichés dreamed up by young executives who clearly don't have enough work to do?
Singing from the same hymn sheet, batting for the same team, biting bullets, grasping nettles, touching base - all trite phrases which have entered the English language in the last 10 to 20 years and which generally drive me bonkers.
There is, apparently, a new breed of cobblers speak which officebroker.com warns us about.
Colleagues are called 404 s (as in the web message 404; not found), you can knife and fork a task - which is managing it bit by bit and not Cockney rhyming slang for something less savory.
You're ready to plug in and play if you're fully trained and can start the job immediately and by bookmarking someone you're taking a note of their contact details.
What about calling your PC a square-headed spouse - nothing to do vith vot ve called ze enemy in Vorld Vor Two of course - and elephants or 100lb gorillas in the room suggest there s a jolly big problem everyone is ignoring.
I could go on. I won't. My cringometer has swung past the "this is more than just a load of old pelt" mark and I'm losing the will to live.
