Office for One
There appear to be next-to-no offices in central Stafford for single users, but this building has some. It is not a modern building either inside or out and, personally, I would not invite customers there, so I would regard an office here as a private one, perhaps an alternative to working from home.
The manager who showed me around was extremely helpful. Essentially, I could bring my own furniture or use theirs in any combination. There is evidently no formal lease agreement tieing the occupant to a fixed term -- just a deposit to start and an appropriate notice period on leaving: a helpfully flexible arrangement. Rent includes utilities, and excludes business rates.
The premises provides centralized phone and mail, as well as a meeting room, although occupants can install phone and internet lines individually at their own cost as well.
The place could do with re-vamping, in my view, but provides a handy space.
