Character building

Location is prime, it's not within the hustle and bustle of the business sector of Colmore Row/Temple Row but also not amongst the madness of shoppers. More of an in-between location.

The buildings around Victoria Square all have character yet still have a clean image. The office provider here has the entire building (8 floors) therefore you don't have to go through two receptions like some other centres. On the negative side the main entrance is branded with news boards outside the main door, but on a company-wide scale they are now toning this down so this might not be the case for long...

Whilst I was there they were in the process of building the new business lounge. This has opened up the reception area and made the building look much bigger - good move. Within the business lounge they have built a number of "Think Pods" which is something new that the office provider has launched. Think of a small weird shaped Japanese car but instead of seats and a steering wheel, you get a computer and a swivel chair!

The business lounge is something that none of the other competitors I saw had, this can be an advantage for meeting clients in my opinion, a bit better than a break-out area.
