Office Space Location Data - Leeds:

Leeds is in a great business location for transport links being just off the M1 motorway and the A1 / A1(M) which provides great road links from north to south, and the M62 motorway which runs from east to west. Leeds train station is in a city centre location and offers fantastic links to London with services to King’s Cross / St Pancras International which homes the Eurostar train service that connects the UK to the European mainland via the Channel Tunnel.

Leeds also offers a free bus, the FreeCity Bus service which connects the bus station, the train station, the universities and Leeds general infirmary. The service runs through the Leeds Public Transport Box which is an area surrounding the core Leeds shopping district which is limited to just public transport access.

For travel further afield, Leeds Bradford International Airport provides many useful air-route connections and Manchester Airport is just a 1.5 hour train journey away. Whilst much of Leeds office space is in central locations, other popular, less central locations include Thorpe Park which is just by junction 46 of the M1 and the Leeds Innovation Centre to the north of the city centre.

Central Leeds is broken down into several main areas: Leeds Civic Quarter which is focused on Millennium Square to the north of the railway station, the many retail stores of the Central Shopping District to the north / north east of the station, Leeds Exchange Quarter which is centred around Leeds Corn Exchange, Leeds Financial District to the north west of Leeds station, Riverside to the south of the station which now homes the Leeds Royal Armouries museum at Clarence Dock, and the Holbeck area to the south of Leeds station.

Leeds commerce has a real variety and wide directory of commercial and corporate real estate / office space including freehold sale, leasing agreements, sublet space, fully serviced and managed Leeds office space (lingo pointer: for business clients from the USA searching for a corporate realty location for a Leeds headquarters / hq, a “managed” or “serviced” office space is often called an “executive suite” by American realestate agents and realtors).

Business / office space in Leeds is available on a wide variety of rental terms and they can vary from open-plan, empty office space on traditional leasing / sublease / sublet agreements (generally, sublet / sub-lease and leasing terms are a far longer business commitment) to more flexible, completely furnished office suites with each workstation / desk prepared for tenants prior to their move in (lingo tip: a “ workstation ” is occasionally referred to as a “ cubicle ” in America, although a workstation is open-plan rather than enclosed like traditional cubicle spaces).

Leeds serviced offices are available on flexible monthly license rent terms and generally include cat 5 cabling with telecoms and broadband services which are managed on-site for convenience, executive chairs and desks, ad hoc meeting suites which can be rented on hourly rates, reception / receptionist facilities, administration and secretary services, property security systems such as cctv and security guards, and most Leeds serviced office property has on-site property management executives in order to manage all tenant requirements as efficiently as possible.
