Edinburgh is divided into several districts: the Old Town, the New Town, South Side and Leith. Edinburgh Waverley Station is the main rail transport hub that serves the city and offers connections directly to London King’s Cross. Haymarket railway station is also an important commuter stop and lies just to the west of Edinburgh city centre. Edinburgh Park station serves the business estate adjacent to it and the headquarters of the Royal Bank of Scotland in nearby Gogarburn whilst the Edinburgh Crossrail service connects Edinburgh Park station, Waverley station and Haymarket station along with the suburban railway stations of Newcraighall and Brunstane in locations east of the city. Alongside the rail and air transport facilities, bus services run throughout the city and further afield from the Edinburgh Bus Station located just off St Andrew's Square.
Edinburgh is also re-introducing a tram system and it will start by running from Edinburgh Airport in the west of the city, via Edinburgh city centre and then down Leith Walk to Ocean Terminal and Newhaven. Future plans will see trams running from Haymarket through Craigleith and Ravelston to Granton on the waterfront and a line running the length of Edinburgh waterfront and one going west from Edinburgh Airport on to Newbridge and Ratho.
Commercial real estate in Edinburgh is also popular due to the many popular retail stores and attractions on offer in the city such as Edinburgh Castle which is known throughout the world, the National Library of Scotland which offers millions of books, maps and manuscripts covering every subject, St. Giles' Cathedral located on the Royal Mile With its famed crown spire, the Edinburgh Vaults which are a favourite with ghost hunters, the National War Museum of Scotland which can be found in Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Museum which can be found on Chambers Street, the very popular Museum of Childhood, the picturesque Princes Street Gardens, the beautiful Victorian building of The Royal Lyceum Theatre and the many popular shows and plays held at the King's Theatre, the popular Edinburgh Festival Theatre, the Edinburgh Playhouse at 18-22 Greenside Place and the redeveloped Usher Hall.
Edinburgh also hosts many large concerts at both Murrayfield and Meadowbank stadiums whilst the National Gallery of Scotland on the Mound holds regular exhibitions of painting. Edinburgh has two main football teams: Heart of Midlothian and Hibernian who play at Tynecastle Stadium in Gorgie and Easter Road Stadium respectively. Edinburgh Zoo (Located in Corstorphine)is also a favourite with tourists who also take advantage of the park and ride sites on the edge of Edinburgh at locations in Sheriffhall, Ingliston, Riccarton, Inverkeithing in Fife, Newcraighall and Straiton. Healthcare in Edinburgh is also good as Edinburgh also has a number of hospitals inc the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, the Western General Hospital, The Royal Edinburgh Hospital and the private Murrayfield Hospital.
