Since opening, the company has organically grown, successfully doubling their profit year on year to become one of the largest of its kind in the UK.
They have 1000's of UK clients - both office space providers (such as Regus), who are looking for businesses to fill their offices, and businesses such as 3M, who are looking for serviced or flexible offices within the UK or the rest of the world. In terms of UK predictions, Jim and Andy are confident they will continue their steep growth curve and for the next financial year are predicting to double the company's turnover again, hitting the £6million mark.
To stay ahead of their own growth, officebroker.com's recruitment drive averages two new members of staff per quarter, so the company is also planning to expand and buy new premises to accommodate their 30 plus staff during the next year.
The new office in Dallas, USA currently employs four members of staff but is recruiting for two more.
As with the UK office, it is predicted to double its turnover year on year and is currently increasing its turnover by $50k per month.
With more global expansion in the planning, Jim and Andy are planning to open an officebroker.com office in Hong Kong within the first six months of 2007.
Beyond this, future plans include opening additional offices throughout the rest of the world ensuring that officebroker.com becomes "the global place to find your office".
