Brokerage Helps Flooded Businesses Back On Track

An office space brokerage was able to come to the rescue of two businesses in the Sheffield area made homeless through the floods.

officebroker.com managed to house ecology consultancy, McCarthy Associates within an hour of receiving a call from the business, whose premises in south Yorkshire had been flooded with inches of water. Eight staff had to relocate to offices on Queen Street, in Sheffield.

Director Andy Haywood said: "Now that they are rehoused at least they can carry on working and making money and they don't have the

worry of thinking they may have to let people go."

He added that his company was also helping a disaster recovery consultancy firm find office accommodation for clients made homeless through the floods.
